Based on valuable user feedback, we have improved collision avoidance mode to ensure that alerts are more effective when and where they are needed most.
Some users previously relied on manual mode to trigger alarms, which was not its intended use. With this update, collision avoidance automatically detects hazards in the most critical direction—dead ahead—without unnecessary distractions.
With Forward-Facing Collision Avoidance Mode, the system can be set to point the camera straight ahead when traveling at speed, ensuring hazards are detected exactly where they matter most. It is a setting that users can activate directly in the app.
This update provides an additional layer of protection for Sentry users, ensuring continuous monitoring and increased safety.

We understand that managing alarms effectively is crucial for a seamless experience, especially when operating in camera control mode.
Now, operators can use the camera control mode without unnecessary visual or acoustic distractions, ensuring a clearer, more streamlined experience when navigating.
