Camera cropping: see more of what is ahead, without losing what is outside the frame
The camera view is now cropped to better fit the app screen, giving you a larger, clearer image of what is directly ahead, exactly where your attention is already focused.
You are not trading awareness for that clarity: objects outside the visible area are still analyzed by the AI and flagged with an arrow pointing in their direction, so you keep full situational awareness even beyond what is on screen.
A refreshed design: less relearning, more consistency across your SEA.AI systems
The app’s design has been updated to match the look and feel of other SEA.AI products, including SEA.AI Competition and SEA.AI Offshore hardware interfaces.

An updated map: sharper context at a glance
Version 8.0 introduces an updated map view aimed at giving you clearer, steadier context on your surroundings.
Also new in this release, and the convenience each one adds
- Mobile apps. The SEA.AI app is now available for Android and iOS, alongside desktop, so you can check in on your system from whichever device is closest to hand.
- macOS and Windows compatibility. The app now runs on desktop platforms as well as mobile, useful for planning and reviewing at the nav station.
- Light theme. A new Light theme joins the existing Dark and Night themes, so the display stays easy on the eyes in bright daylight, not just after dark.
- Display scale. Choose between Compact, Default, and Large interface sizes to match your screen and your eyesight.
- Temporary mute duration. Alarms can now be muted for 30, 60, or 120 minutes at a time, handy when you need a quiet stretch without turning alerts off for the whole watch.
