Watchkeeper Debuts at Sydney International Boat Show 2025

We’re excited to make our Australian debut at the Sydney International On-Water Boat Show in Cockle Bay, Darling Harbour, from November 13–16. Join us at Booth TP8 for live demos of Watchkeeper, our award-winning AI-powered maritime vision system.

Following our Innovation Route Award win at the Cannes Yachting Festival, we’re proud to introduce Watchkeeper to the Australian market — a scalable, modular solution that makes advanced maritime safety more accessible than ever. Systems start at just 8,990 AUD.

Designed for Australia’s Vast Coastline and Active Boating Community

Australia’s rich maritime culture and extensive coastline make it a natural fit for Watchkeeper. Our system offers advanced situational awareness to sailors, skippers, and commercial operators, using low-light and thermal cameras to detect objects even radar and AIS can miss.

“With Watchkeeper’s modular architecture and accessible pricing, more boaters down under can benefit from a dedicated, intelligent lookout onboard,” says Marcus Warrelmann, our CEO.

How Watchkeeper Works

At the heart of Watchkeeper is our AI edge-computing unit, trained on millions of marine images. It continuously processes real-time optical and thermal imagery, distinguishing between vessels, debris, swimmers, marine mammals, and other potential hazards — even in low-visibility or nighttime conditions.

The system integrates with major multifunction displays (MFDs) and navigation networks, providing real-time visual and audible alerts to ensure you’re always aware of your surroundings.

More Than Collision Avoidance

Beyond helping avoid collisions, Watchkeeper enhances man-overboard (MOB) detection, offering rapid thermal identification of people in the water. It also contributes to marine mammal protection, helping vessels avoid whale strikes by identifying their visual and thermal signatures — including the iconic whale blow.

Flexible Installation for All Vessel Types

Watchkeeper is available in multiple configurations — from entry-level low-light setups to high-end, triple-camera systems for large vessels. Whether you’re operating a commercial workboat, power yacht, or sailboat, our system fits both retrofits and new builds.
