Sales Manager Americas

To grow our business in the US, we are looking for an experienced Sales Manager at the hotspots of the US maritime industry:

Responsibilities  

  • Develop trust relationships with a portfolio of major clients
  • Direct and In-Direct B2B sales in commercial, recreational and security segments
  • Acquire a thorough understanding of key customer needs and requirements
  • Expand the relationships with direct customers, existing dealers, distributors and shipyards
  • Serve as the link of communication between key customers and internal teams (service, production, R&D)
  • Play an integral part in generating new sales that will turn into long-lasting relationships
  • Prepare regular reports of progress and forecasts to internal and external stakeholders using key account metrics

Your profile and qualifications

  • Proven experience as sales manager in the maritime industry in the US (min. 5 years)
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration or a relevant field
  • Experience in value-based selling
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with aptitude in building relationships with professionals of all organizational levels
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Excellent negotiation and leadership skills – knowledge of the Challenger Sales methodology or similar methodology would be an asset
  • Ability to work in a team setting while also being highly motivated and able to work on an individual/remote basis
  • Strong industry network of contacts
  • Represent SEA.AI at industry conferences
  • Expected travel within the Americas region to visit customers around 30-40% of the time
