Il fait partie int\u00e9grante de la s\u00e9quence vid\u00e9o.   <\/p><p class=\"font-claude-response-body break-words whitespace-normal\">Pour un syst\u00e8me d\u2019IA tentant de rep\u00e9rer une bou\u00e9e, un nageur ou un autre navire, une image instable est un probl\u00e8me avant m\u00eame que l\u2019analyse ne commence. La d\u00e9tection, le suivi et la mesure de distance n\u00e9cessitent tous une image stable pour fonctionner. \u00c9liminer d\u2019abord le mouvement propre du bateau de la vid\u00e9o s\u2019appelle \u00ab\u00a0la compensation de mouvement\u00a0\u00bb. C\u2019est l\u2019une des t\u00e2ches les moins visibles mais les plus importantes qu\u2019effectue une cam\u00e9ra maritime dot\u00e9e d\u2019IA.   <\/p><p> <\/p><p class=\"font-claude-response-body break-words whitespace-normal\">C\u2019est plus facile \u00e0 voir qu\u2019\u00e0 expliquer. C\u2019est le bateau lui-m\u00eame qui bouge sous la cam\u00e9ra. La t\u00e2che principale de la compensation de mouvement est de d\u00e9terminer comment la cam\u00e9ra a boug\u00e9, en utilisant des capteurs inertiels, des donn\u00e9es visuelles, ou les deux combin\u00e9s. Dans la premi\u00e8re, la bou\u00e9e se trouve \u00e0 droite. Dans la deuxi\u00e8me, elle est au bord du cadre. Dans la troisi\u00e8me, elle est de retour vers le milieu. L\u2019horizon s\u2019incline en m\u00eame temps qu\u2019elle.    <\/p><p class=\"font-claude-response-body break-words whitespace-normal\">La bou\u00e9e n\u2019a jamais boug\u00e9. Elle est ancr\u00e9e au fond marin. Lorsqu\u2019elle ne cesse de sauter et de devenir floue entre les images, le syst\u00e8me gaspille de l\u2019\u00e9nergie \u00e0 poursuivre quelque chose qui n\u2019a jamais r\u00e9ellement boug\u00e9. <\/p><p class=\"font-claude-response-body break-words whitespace-normal\"><strong>Le suivi s\u2019interrompt.<\/strong> C\u2019est la d\u00e9faillance la plus pr\u00e9judiciable. Le suivi consiste \u00e0 suivre le m\u00eame objet d\u2019une image \u00e0 l\u2019autre. Si une bou\u00e9e stationnaire semble bondir d\u2019un c\u00f4t\u00e9 \u00e0 l\u2019autre du cadre, le syst\u00e8me peut la confondre avec un navire s\u2019approchant rapidement.  <\/p><p class=\"font-claude-response-body break-words whitespace-normal\"><strong>La distance et le rel\u00e8vement deviennent peu fiables.<\/strong> La position d\u2019un contact sur l\u2019eau est calcul\u00e9e \u00e0 partir de l\u2019orientation de la cam\u00e9ra. Quelques degr\u00e9s d\u2019erreur dans cette estimation signifient qu\u2019un contact situ\u00e9 \u00e0 huit cents m\u00e8tres peut sembler se trouver l\u00e0 o\u00f9 il n\u2019est pas. Plus la cible est loin, plus cette erreur s\u2019accentue.  <\/p><p>Une fois les secousses supprim\u00e9es, la bou\u00e9e reste immobile \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9cran m\u00eame si le bateau continue de rouler en dessous. La pleine mer rend le probl\u00e8me plus difficile, car le mouvement ne s\u2019arr\u00eate jamais et la sc\u00e8ne n\u2019offre au logiciel presque aucun point d\u2019accroche. <\/p><p class=\"font-claude-response-body break-words whitespace-normal\">Sur terre, un logiciel peut suivre des points de r\u00e9f\u00e9rence fixes tels que des b\u00e2timents ou des bords de route pour d\u00e9terminer comment une cam\u00e9ra a boug\u00e9. <span data-teams=\"true\">L\u2019eau libre offre tr\u00e8s peu de points de r\u00e9f\u00e9rence stables.<\/span> Elle bouge, r\u00e9fl\u00e9chit la lumi\u00e8re et se ressemble dans toutes les directions.<\/p><p class=\"font-claude-response-body break-words whitespace-normal\">C\u2019est l\u00e0 qu\u2019intervient une <a href=\"https:\/\/www.vectornav.com\/resources\/detail\/what-is-an-inertial-measurement-unit-imu\">unit\u00e9 de mesure inertielle<\/a>, ou IMU. Plut\u00f4t que d\u2019observer la sc\u00e8ne, une IMU ressent directement le mouvement propre du bateau.  <span data-teams=\"true\">\u00c0 l\u2019int\u00e9rieur, des acc\u00e9l\u00e9rom\u00e8tres mesurent l\u2019acc\u00e9l\u00e9ration lin\u00e9aire le long de chaque axe, tandis que des gyroscopes mesurent la vitesse angulaire. Ensemble, ils permettent au syst\u00e8me d\u2019estimer l\u2019orientation et le mouvement de la plateforme. <\/span><\/p><p class=\"font-claude-response-body break-words whitespace-normal\">Aucun capteur n\u2019est fiable seul. Les acc\u00e9l\u00e9rom\u00e8tres ne peuvent pas facilement distinguer le mouvement r\u00e9el de l\u2019attraction constante de la gravit\u00e9, et les gyroscopes d\u00e9rivent l\u00e9g\u00e8rement avec le temps \u00e0 mesure que de petites erreurs s\u2019accumulent. La combinaison des deux, une technique appel\u00e9e fusion de capteurs, produit une estimation stable et continuellement corrig\u00e9e de l\u2019orientation de la plateforme. L\u2019IMU effectue des pr\u00e9l\u00e8vements des centaines de fois par seconde, bien plus vite que la fr\u00e9quence d\u2019images vid\u00e9o, capturant ainsi des mouvements rapides qui autrement passeraient inaper\u00e7us entre les images.   <\/p><p class=\"font-claude-response-body break-words whitespace-normal\">Les cam\u00e9ras thermiques augmentent encore la difficult\u00e9. Une image thermique comporte beaucoup moins de texture visuelle qu\u2019une image couleur normale, laissant au logiciel encore moins de caract\u00e9ristiques auxquelles se rattacher.
