Responsibilities
As Sales Manager for the Scandinavia and Baltic region, your role will focus on developing and expanding SEA.AI’s market presence across the security & commercial sector.
Your role will include:
- Drive Direct and In-Direct sales in the region in line with our company strategy and regional targets;
- Develop trust-based relationships with a portfolio of major clients – focus on Direct and In-Direct sales in maritime commercial and security/government business;
- Gain deep understanding of regional maritime needs;
- Expand and support our dealer and distributor network, as well as key shipyard partners across Scandinavia and the Baltics;
- Connect between regional clients and internal teams;
- Play a strategic role in securing tenders and public-sector contracts and converting new sales into long-term partnerships;
- Deliver regional sales reporting and forecasting, using key account and performance metrics tailored to the territory;
- Represent SEA.AI at industry conferences.
Your Profile and Qualifications
To excel in this role, we are looking for someone with the following profile and qualifications:
- Proven experience as Sales Manager in the Maritime industry (min. 3-5 years);
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration or a relevant field;
- Experience in value-based selling;
- Strong track record in solution-based sales and managing complex accounts;
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build rapport across cultures and with stakeholders at all organizational levels;
- Fluency in English and Scandinavian languages;
- Excellent negotiation and leadership skills – knowledge of the Challenger Sales methodology or similar methodology would be an asset;
- Willingness to travel within the region (30- 40% of the time), including occasional international travel for training and trade shows;
- Ability to work in a team setting while also being highly motivated and able to work on an individual/remote basis;
- Strong industry network of contacts;
- Comfortable working independently and in a fast-paced, tech-driven environment.
